That’s a win for both teams.

Baylor gets a an extra days rest before smu

Auburn gets an extra day before….well, ball state.

I’m fine with it. So many good games on Labor Day weekend and this one would get lost in the shuffle.

Play it on Saturday and it would probably get relegated to ESPN2 and would get around 1.3 million viewers.

Play this on Friday night on ESPN and it will get 3 million+ viewers.

Would be a good basketball game. Both football teams suck.

8-5 Baylor vs 5-7 Auburn. I can’t see either team blowing the doors off next season. It’s a better matchup than Auburn vs Alabama A&M though.

You know that's an old picture... LSU hasn't seen 1-0 in a minute.

I'm fine with it too.
Saturday August 30 in Waco TX...
we get stuck with a mid-day kickoff...
could be 100+ on the field with a heat index approaching the temperature of the sun...

Friday August 29 in Waco TX...
guaranteed eveing kickoff...
at least the sun will be down and the temp/heat index will be dropping.
Win/Win for both AU and Baylor IMHO.

Doesn’t surprise me. We’ve been pretty bad for a long time now and it’s better than playing that dreaded 11AM game on ESPN the Ocho. Until we win some consequential games we’re gonna get shitty game times.

While true, wasn't this something Baylor had to agree to?
