You realize ESPN already televises the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest? And it gets better ratings than the majority of college basketball games?

College baseball will also never draw the ratings of college basketball.

Lots of folks don't get the ESPN family due to costs, but still get ABC. Basketball will never outdraw football. The fact that Sankey signed a deal where ESPN controls the conference while the BigTen laps up money from the major networks will hamper the SEC long term. Sankey =SEC sinkey
