Why do you think that way for Drinkwitz? He may get his team to make the college playoffs this coming season. He has gotten enough key players to make it happen.

Unlike Georgia, there are two legit metro areas in Missouri.
There are plenty of Mizzou fans smiling tonight.

Interesting thread
Overall it’s been a pretty good year for sports in Missouri. Chiefs. Royals. Both Mizzou football and basketball doing/did well.
And as a Mizzou grad who lives in the Los Angeles area - also the Dodgers.
So this Mizzou fan is doing just fine. But thank you for your thoughts.

Nathan, you glorious retard, not all Mizzou fans are Chiefs fans.

And the ones that are, are Mizzou fans, looking on the bright side is our M.O. in these cases
We still have a better football and bball team than we’ve had in a bit, and half the last 6 Lombardi’s isn’t too bad

Leave it to the rant to force us to defend the honor of the Chiefs. Kinda like a we can make fun of our siblings but woe onto anyone else that does sort of thing.

I just know Mizzou fans care more about the Chiefs than anything since Mizzou athletics is such Mid Poo.

Doubling down on retardation, I see.

Yeah, I would say the same thing if my team went 0-2 in SBs.

Living here in KC, there are a LOT of folks who are "Lifelong Chiefs fans since 2020"

I was thrilled the Chefs lost and in the most painful way possible.

Georgia "dynasty" is over. You lost to ND, a down Bama team and got blown out by Ole miss. Your program is going in the wrong direction. Couldn't even find a decent LT last year or WRs who could actually catch the ball.

Me, too. I'm from STL, and most people here hate the Chiefs and their owner who helped pave the way for the Rams and Kroenke to move to LA.
And we're sick of seeing Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce in commercials! Mahomes was seeing ghosts in the SB, he had such happy feet. Played like a total wuss once he got hit a few times. Nice garbage time TDs, though, against Philly scrubs.

That’s my thinking. You can’t just forget about the rams moving out and start rooting for the chiefs who you’ve previously hated. We never heard anything about the Chiefs on the eastern half of the state when the rams were around, but anyone who went to Mizzou had to hear enough about them to never be a fan, under any circumstance.
