Other Elites: Nebraska, Penn State, Florida State, Miami, Clemson
Other, but not all, “Mids” would be Michigan St, UCLA, Washington, Oregon, Wisconsin, TCU, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, Iowa, et al.

Auburn football has 1 undisputed national title but also has 3 consecutive losing seasons. They are 0.604 all time and have been ranked in the final AP poll 40 times in 90 years.
Outside of 1 season where he made the FF, Bruce Pearl has never taken Auburn basketball past the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament . Auburn has never won a basketball national title and is 0.545 all time. They’ve been ranked in the final AP poll 10 times in 80 years.
Please explain to us how that’s not literally the definition of Mid.

There was a cigarette butt in the burger I ordered at the Vortex, and I believe it was from a particular member of kitchen staff (Summer of Jimbo).
I assumed we were talking football here. If we are talking basketball, Jimbo is throwing stones from a glass house.

I'm not asserting anything - other than, the only thing notable about UGA's basketball history is Dominique. But he was in the League by the time I was born.
I'll add that the list (as it pertains to CFB) that the AU poster above is spot on, when referencing the original question from the original poster: "exist, decent, but never have a shot"
