Why do Ags think Schloss will fail at Texas?

Sorta taken from the Texas NIL baseball thread.
The guy has achieved more at TCU than anybody ever. Took the Frogs from 0 CWS appearances to 5 (in an 8 season span).
Took over an Aggie program that had been to Omaha 6 times, but only won two total games in the CWS. He matched that total in 2022, then took them to a whisker of a title last season. Again, the most accomplished coach for that program…
He can be a d-bag or a swinger, whatever makes you sleep better at night. But there’s no reason to think he won’t win in Austin.

Imagine the pressure that guy is under now ..... That alone may be why.

the timing was awful on his part, imagine if he would have won the natty and still left
schloss will do fine with the resources at Texas
Aggies were a sleeping giant when he took over and look what he did in a short amount of time
I would be more concerned with a career assistant in his first job as a head coach, it's not easy to play bad cop which is what the head coach has to do when you are in charge of all facets of the program

One, don’t put words in our mouth. No one says that, no matter how many random forum posts you claim you say to generalize us into your thoughts.
You should have titled it, “Why I think Schlossnagle will succeed at horn” and kept us out of it.
That’s as dumb as me saying something like, “why do LSU fans think Nuss is guaranteed the Heisman”

C- for you troll, but B+ for you sharing your thoughts on Schloss and why you think he’s successful.

I don't know any A&M fan that is betting that he will fail. They are just hoping.
Everyone that works with the guy ends up being either grossed out with him, finding him to be a aloof d-bag, or realizing too late that he is a total merc with no love for anything other than his bro Chris Del Conte.
I can remember his intro press conference in Austin when the reporter asked him how it felt to be associated with such a legendary baseball program like Texas. He basically said he was only in Austin because of the things Chris Del Conte offered him and said nothing about the University or its baseball history.
But he wins . . . .employing a pervy ahole is fine if he wins and he does not beat his girlfriend ala Chris Beard.

Schloss will kill it at Texas, in the tradition of Gustafson and Garrido.
David Pierce had 4 years of HC experience before Texas, at Sam Houston State & Tulane. He was a good assistant familiar with the local area, but he wasn't what Texas needed.
Scholss had CDC as his AD at TCU for a long time; probably took him 2 whole days to get comfortable here. He'll do well here.

Y’all were singing his praises before he left and swearing up and down that he’d never leave aggyland. Then he leaves, and the man is the devil and we knew it all along and he never belonged.

Another reason aggy thinks he will fail is they are eternally butt hurt that Texas is the flagship school of the State of Texas.
It is that simple. They have little brother / short man syndrome.

That’s fine, but that doesn’t really answer my question.

Anyone who criticizes Aggie is a "sip".

What are the expectations for Schloss early in the first few years?
By my (and maybe your) standards I think he will be successful but will Texas fans be happy with a regional exit in year one and two with a finish more in the middle of the SEC standings? Because that’s a very possible result.
The hype is off the charts from their fans and the national media at large and I wonder what the sentiment will be if he doesn’t have immediate measurable success

He's a turncoat piece of shite who's just as ugly on the inside as he is on the outside.
