Oh no a mom is upset about something in Facebook comments

Next thing it'll be a group me text between moms! A true 13U summer baseball situation brewing!

If you're getting paid like pros, you deal with backlash like pros. Don't rally your family to go after folks when you're benched for poor play. You're a pro. Deal with it like a pro.

The mom of the best player on the team called the program a (humiliating environment) I think that says a lot about the culture and the head coach

So humiliating that he's come back for multiple seasons.

Nonsense

See: I knew there was a perfectly logical explanation for last night’s events. God made him play poorly.

No, he didn't play poorly. Didn't you read? It was all right there.

I am truly shocked that a momma blindly defended her son on her Facebook page. Shocked I tell you!

I know no reason to believe that he asked his mom to vent on Facebook. I assume that he wishes she didn't.

I would be taking that comment down immediately … if she keeps it up he may become an outcast …. Parents trying to defend their kid when the kid was absolutely in the wrong ….. it’s embarrassing he’s a freaking adult .

You are right, I shouldn’t have oversimplified such a serious issue. In reality, he didn’t play poorly. The shots just didn’t go in like they were supposed to. However, God, in his eternal glory and wisdom, for some unknown reason made some people PERCEIVE that he played poorly.

Much ado about nothing.

Mama bear is in her feelings. It'll be good for Sears in the long run. Everyone needs humbling.

These parents that can’t keep their mouths shut and won’t stay out of the locker room can ruin their kids’ careers.

Adversity is a part of life. It sucks, but you have to battle through it if you’re going to make it. Mark Sears is a great player and he will continue to be a great player. For whatever reason, Oats felt that the winning lineup last night was one without Sears. Sears just has to battle back now. I think he will, and it will make him a better player and person.
