The ATL weather people are starting to get serious now that we're less than 48 hours out from the event.

Sexy-arse CBS 46 meteorologist (and UGA grad) Ella Dorsey says that the line N of I-20 has ventured into the 70%+ likelihood of 3-5" of snow.

Models starting to come together. Guessing we get 3-4 inches based on the latest GFS and Euro. Gonna be a wet snow, so some iciness to it. Should be perfect for making a snowman and snowball fights

I can't wait to see some decent accumulation in North Cobb. Our Goldendoodle puppy has never seen snow.

Hell, I don't think we've had any significant accumulation in 5Y here.

7Y here.

We're overdue. On average we get accumulating snow every 4-5 years, so twice a decade.

Man I miss living in N GA. Cold rain here in SC. My kids never get to see any snow.

However I remember one year when we got 16” in the mountains. Not a lot of fun stuck in the house with the rents for 5 days while all my friends in town were hanging out having fun.

That's our hope, too. We're set otherwise

Maybe the cold temps will freeze the yeast off your goldendoodle's oily skin.

Seems almost a certain that we’re all getting snow although the more metro areas might have to worry about a change over to freezing rain for a bit.

Has the governor declared an emergency yet?
