New for 2025, Rebuilt Oline.  Dylan Fairchild, Jared Wilson, Tate Ratledge are all entering the NFL Draft. Xavier Truss is out of eligibility. That leaves Monroe Freeling, Earnest Green, Drew Bobo and Micah Morris as the only returning Olinemen with game experience. Drew Bobo will most likely be the starting center. It doesn't feel like Jared Wilson has been here for four years. The 2024 Oline recruiting class seems to have gotten whipped into shape. I don't think next year's Oline can play any worse than 2024. These guys will be fighting for a spot in the rotation.

Nyier Daniels - 6'8, 391(345) pounds - Redshirt Freshman
Daniel Calhoun – 6’6", 325(365) pounds – Redshirt Freshman
Jamal Meriweatehr – 6’7", 305 pounds – Redshirt Sophomore
Marques Easley – 6’5", 325(335) pounds – Redshirt Freshman
Michael Unini – 6’7", 325(335) pounds – Redshirt Freshman
Marcus Harrison -6'8, 330(336) pounds - Redshirt Freshman
Jahzare Jackson 6'10, 340(348) pounds - Redshirt Freshman
Malachi Toliver 6'5, 320(320) pounds - Redshirt Freshman

2025 True Freshmen who I think will make the 2-deep.
Cortez Smith 6'3 310 pounds Backup Center?
Juan Gaston 6'7 345 pounds

My prediction

LT Monroe Freeling
LG - Earnest Green (moves to his natural position)
C Drew Bobo
RG Micah Morris
RT Bo Hughey

Jesus

They may be young and our coaches may not know what to do with them but that’s a LOT of tall big arse boys. I’m 6’5 225 and considered a giant around the people I work with. Those are some big motherfrickers.

I don’t think it can be worse so at least we have that.

I guess you don't remember the Mark Richt philosophy of recruiting 3 star o line players once every 3 years.

lol of course I do. Mark liked them thick and slow.

I was referring to the 2024 line.

We had block parties when Theus was recruited and he ended up as a 5th round draft pick.

Juan Gaston too. He showed out at one of those high school bowl games. Could see him making an impact

MJG, Stinch, Cordy Glenn, David Andrews, Ben Jones?

He recruited some good ones. The issue was numbers. We never had depth it seemed on the line.

If you were a 265 pound offensive lineman recruit with a bum shoulder 15 years ago, you were definitely getting an offer from Georgia.

LT - Freeling
LG - Greene
C - Bobo
RG Calhoun
RT - Morris

Morris can play OT as well. Sliding him to RT and bringing in Calhoun at RG would allow the “best 5”, as they say, to be on the field.

Freeling has the tools and the body for LT. He lacks consistency and what appears maybe to be confidence.

We don't have a player with the raw talent of Amarius Mims anymore, as those guys are too expensive. But across the board, we are still one of the most talented OLs in the country.

Brooks just released a review of the 2025 o-line outlook. (I haven’t watched because I’m tied up.)
