One NFL scout called this the most talented team he has ever evaluated at Ohio State, with more depth than the 2021 national champion Georgia team that set a draft record with 15 players selected in 2022.

"Pound for pound, player for player," the scout said, "they have as many good players as any [college football] team that I can remember."

Ohio State athletic director Ross Bjork recently said the school’s collectives have combined to raise an estimated $20 million to support this year’s football roster. OSU is hoping to set the pace in the new football arms race.

I think O$U have even more talents than UGA or Bama.

So, they built a team that could beat Tennessee’s strongest in 25 years?

What I'm seeing is that Ryan Day is a better coach than Jimbo Fisher?

They do. It’s close with Georgia, but with Beck out, that’s a massive negative, obviously.

Looks like buying a few 5 star players to go with the players that have been there 3 or 4 years must work really well.

So your feeling a little inadequate??

In all seriousness, if OSU continues to play like that they win the whole thing!

So now VOLS are going to start knighting for Ohio State in an attempt to lessen the embarrassment. Mmm-kay.

I’m not thrilled with what college football is turning into but the new rules/guidelines (or lack of them) is the current reality for everyone.

If Ohio State is able to take better advantage of that than most, then props to them.

I doubt most any of us would complain if our school was the one in Ohio State’s current position.

I'm still confused by all of this. OSU has a $20 million roster allegedly.

Are we supposed to sit here and say Texas and Georgia are only at like $18 million or $17 million? Texas and UGA, and everyone else for that matter, can't field competitive teams if they are spending half of what OSU is, so they are spending potentially as much, or maybe even more

Texas literally has $3 million as its backup QB this year. They have another $3 million in Ewers and their QB room is $6 million plus (they have a couple other QBs too).
