Can someone explain how a bunch of refs review that play, with the target carried offield, explain how that was not targeting?
Seriously, this is beyond bizarre and explanation.

I’m not even an ASU fan but I fricking hate injustice and corruption. I hope they have life insurance. If a crazy goes after them, I’ll just shrug it away. Maybe the founding fathers had a point after all.

I see your point, but the thing is, we were not playing for anything. Maybe your weekend would have been better?

If it was so corrupted how did they miss the clear penalty on ASU TD?

Eh, you guys are still pathetic with your bizarre traditions and culture, but yes, Texas looks like they have some monetary influence on the field as well.

Because the crown of the helmet was not used.

The Texas defender's head was completely up, he didn't launch into the receiver at all. There was nothing he could do, I thought it was the right call.

It’s Texas. All about the money.

I tell yah what smokey... go pull all the targeting calls where it was confirmed and the only consistent thing you'll find is that there was a shot to the head. PERIOD.

Shot to the head of a defenseless player. (Hence, a concussion). No, this was pure corruption.

Yes. And the defender lowers their head to they make contact with the crown. That’s targeting. If you keep your head up (like how they teach you to tackle in pee wee) it’s not targeting if you don’t launch.

Those are 2 separate penalties.

I'm sure you actually believe that because horns are never called for targeting.
"However, if a player is defenseless, you can’t initiate contact above the shoulders, even if you don’t lead with the crown.
Players are also prohibited from targeting and making forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless player with the helmet, forearm, hand, fist, elbow or shoulder."
