He certainly is the most dynamic runner in Alabama’s backfield but how would that translate to the RB position?

No, RBs have to work for yards, not fall to the ground at the first sign of contact, or lose a few yards to get out of bounds.

Well I assume since he is a quarterback he is kinda of trained to not do that but feel like he probably could. Not sure about his receiving ability out of the backfield

I watched the Oklahoma QB work for every yard he could get and take the hits.

If you're going to be a QB whose main strength is running, you better be able to take contact. He wasn't a QB who was scrambling for yards, they were designed run plays.

He wouldn't even take the hit on the pick 6 he threw against Oklahoma and instead tried to trip the guy when all he had to do was push him out of bounds.

If they say a QB can win a team over when he takes a big hit to make that 3rd down or get those extra yards, what does it do when your QB constantly falls like a bitch?

No! If he can't see receivers running wide arse open, how's he gonna see a hole open up at the line for a brief second?

Not when your scared to get hit.
He doesn't even attempt to
Slide when he's running. He simply
Just falls down at 1st contact. Never seen a QB do that before, not under Saban at least. He's fast
& elusive enough to play WR but
Not a RB.

As soon as he stops being afraid of getting hit then maybe.

Nah he would end up overthinking it and get hurt.

You would have to point him in the right direction prior to every snap ....

I don’t believe he would consistently put that head down and run through a tackler. I also believe he won’t be LBer even though he has the size because of the need to be tough and hit people hard.

Now, I wonder if he could be a receiver since he has speed and may be able to learn to block when not running routes. Hands, well being a Qb and handling the ball a lot, maybe he can catch. We will see.

He will be a great car salesman because that’s what he’s doing after college.
