Rod Rod

Looks like he’s out for the ND game. Damn kid can’t catch a break. We needed him to hammer these defenses.

When you watch these high level kids in college or pros..it’s not just their 40 speed, hands and metrics that set them apart. It’s also their physical make up that allows them to go through the punishment of playing football since they were kids, through HS and into college without injury.

My son worked his way into starting his senior year on the D line in high school this year - 5A in the toughest division in the state. His first two games he was lights out …sacks and tackles…DL player of the game his first outing. Really feeling it and it was awesome to see him have success. First play of the 3rd game he goes around the OL and cuts…knee gives and torn ACL…non contact. That was the end of his football career after busting his arse since the 8th grade.

The shite these kids go through plays hell on their joints. Some can take it, some can’t. What’s sad is it’s a physical limitation…not based on heart or effort. Their bodies just give out…can’t take the abuse. It sucks for this kids because they went as hard as they were asked.

This sucks for him. Would’ve loved to have him as an option. What about Branson? Is he healed up? I know he’s not looked the same since the knee, but he can be a bruiser.

Were these two RBs over used in HS? It's getting ridiculous with these injuries. Too much body building?

We are incredibly thin at RB and they don’t let Frazier block much. I expect to see cash as the third down back

Did Branson redshirt again or something? I thought originally he was only to be out a few games but haven’t heard a peep from him since injury.

Yes. We have been thin at rb all season so why would it look different now?

UGA Wire says BRANSON Robinson now set to miss Sugar Bowl due to setback with previous knee injury.

quote:

Georgia Bulldogs running back Branson Robinson can’t catch a break. Robinson missed the 2023 college football season with a knee injury and has been limited in 2024.

Robinson was not present at Georgia’s practice in the lead up to the Sugar Bowl against Notre Dame. Robinson has not played since Georgia’s Oct. 12 game against Mississippi State. It appears Robinson will not return for the College Football Playoff. Robinson reportedly suffered an injury setback to his knee.

I mean we do NOT need him running the ball at all at this point with the set back or not.

He is not the same this year, he needs to just rehab and try to make it back next year

Between ETN, Frazier, and cash Jones I believe we should be fine. Besides, Gunner is a running threat as well.
