I have an odd feeling about that one. Clemson plays Like we do, be interesting and hilarious if there was an upset.

I'd love for Clemson to run through that gauntlet and meet us again in Mercedes Benz.

Texas has more better players and should win by a couple of TDs.
I realize teams match up differently and it was the first game of our season but we blew out Clemson and Texas took us to overtime.

I am rooting for Clemson as well.

It’s a modern CFB travesty that UGA may have to beat a single team 3 times to get crowned “truly better” than Texas

Best friend & her husband are big Clemson fans. They don’t think tClemson can beat Texas. I’m rooting for Clemson too as I can’t stand Texas & their obnoxious fans. However IMO Texas’ QB isn’t that great & if Clemson can cover their receiver throughout the game they may have a chance to pull it off.
Friends & I have been wanting a UGA/Clemson PO game or NC game for a while. It was once a great rivalry that should be resurrected

And most importantly, the transitive property of football doesn't work.

GT took us to overtime too, but that wouldn't mean anything if Tech was playing Texas today. Texas and Clemson's respective outcomes against Georgia aren't that meaningful IMO. Their entire season body of work is why Texas is the favorite.

Every team has one hair on fire performance a year, some more but most just one game. We got Kentucky and Techs best efforts

The only chance for Clemson is to control the Texas run game and they haven't done that so far. That's how be beat them twice.

No worries. Apology not needed.
We are all just making our best conjectures about how these games might pan out.
And the truth is, Clemson played much better than I expected.
They have a darn good QB and he played his heart out.
