Agreed. I had high hopes for him, too. He really helped recruit his class. I know that he wanted to redshirt this year, but with Deuce coming in, and now with JA, I guess he felt like he was gonna be the odd man out and miss his window.

It’s hard to have that many good QBs on the roster. Everyone wants to play.

I had very high hopes but if he is gone for football reasons- I am very happy.

If he left for personal reasons, I wish him the best.

If he left ONLY to avoid competing with a transfer from Oklahoma that has average stats and a freshman that is not here yet - it means he is afraid of competition. No loss at all.

My guess is it is unrelated to football because he waiting to go in the portal.

Could be, if his family is a big part of it. Waiting to make sure we got our guy and then hitting.

Regardless, if he does end up going somewhere, wish him nothing but good luck. He was huge in our recruiting last year. Seems to be a great kid. Would love for him to eventually stay, but if he wants to get closer to home, I get it.

Nope. It's reported that he transfers because of the JA signing

I wish he would stay and compete in the spring to see if/how much he developed.

I expected him to be starting before deuce

I get that he didnt want to be the 3rd place QB but he had to know we were going to the portal since we only had 2 scholarship QBs on the roster

I hate this portal QB shite. We should have We needed to bring someone up this year since it was a throw away year. Now we are caught in the loop of bringing in a guy every year or two that didint work out somewhere else

Sucks

Yeah it sucks. I really like WW since his recruitment days and pulling the class together. I hate this new world.

I agree.

Just pointing out you can’t believe a word that comes out of The Blessed “Brother” Hugh’s snake mouth.

Is what it is, he didn't want to compete with Arnold and Knight. What were we supposed to do? Rely on a redshirt freshman Qb with no experience to start for us? We had to get a portal Qb ?????

Walker’s mom is dealing with breast cancer. Understandably, he has been spending a ton of time at home. I hope he can get closer

Great kid and family

No need for this.

Hank and Holden both left. We had to add QB’s.
