What's his story? Baylor to UAB is a pretty significant downgrade. Did he just get beaten out at Baylor? I think I read where he had a good junior season at UAB, then got injured early in his senior season.

This feels like a Marcel Reed backup plan and not a real threat to the starter. That's a head scratcher. The coaches must really think they can get multiple playmaking out of Reed and not be very predictable and one dimensional.

And having taken 2 other "prospects" in the freshman class, that QB room is packed but it feels mostly bread, no meat/potatoes. Happy to be proven extremely wrong by one or more of the dudes in that QB room.

He likely is happy to even get a chance, as a backup, to play a 7th year. 7th!? Wow.

He’s not a bad QB. I’m surprised he’s not going somewhere to start. Maybe he just wants to experience SEC football. I don’t know that he’s good enough to start but he’ll be a solid backup.

Pretty decent dual threats. I saw him play a game at Baylor once. Threw good deep shots. Got yards with his feet. He can push Reed and be QB2 now, a bridge between O’Neal and the freshmen.

He was left over from Matt Rhule left maybe.

I’m sure he does want to experience SEC football, but I’m pretty sure he just wants to grab another bag as well while he still can. We’re about to see players have 7, 8, 9 years of eligibility.

When a college player has developed a serious receding hairline, it's time to call it quits.
