I believe he was gone before the SECCG got started.

I think the game itself might have to go the way of the dodo bird.

Without some incentive beyond a delayed bye week for the winner and an extra game for the loser and a trophy I think it soon becomes non-existent. Carson Beck suffering a season ending injury, possibly career ending and certainly career impacting injury, is a cautionary tale in this day and age despite it being statistically unlikely to happen often enough to be a real risk. When you are running a business. and players vying for NFL draft stock and NIL deals are running a business, the risk to the individual is not worth the reward. It could help a team solidify a playoff bid (SMU and Clemson both did that simply playing an extra game) but it does not help the individual when their eligibility is ending - there will be players opting out and coaches sitting starters going forward. Few people ever thought CFB would devolve into the FSU fiasco last year....it did indeed.
I am curious what the TV audience was like. I suspect it was massive but would not be surprised if it wasn't. Demand for tickets was waaaaayyyyyy off on the secondary market.

Will never happen nor should it. WAAAAY to much revenue is the main reason they wont but I love the game itself.

Bryant never coached in an SECCG.
Dooley won 6 SEC championships, so Kirby wouldn't even be the leader at UGA.
We're talking the actual SEC championship game here.
Saban won 11 I think, two at LSU. 2001, 2003, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2023
Spurrier won 5 if I'm not mistaken. 1993-1996, 2000
I was kind of surprised that Urban, Miles, Fulmer never won more than two. But it's true. That ties them with Coach Richt, who was underrated IMO.
