I can’t imagine what the kid is going through. To a QB your arm is money so hopefully whatever the injury is he can repair, rehab and get back to his current level.

We talk shite about all of our QBs and he definitely had a wild year. But don’t forget he waited his turn in the age of transfers and came back this year to try and win what UGA couldn’t last year. His receivers, RB’s and OL weren’t consistent and yet he got us to the SECCG when we were behind all season.

He left it all on the field for UGA so give the kid some props. He deserves it.

If it's just a bruise, which is being reported and hopefully the case, it wouldn't really mess up his NFL Combine timeline.

I’m with you on this, rig.

I haven’t seen anywhere reporting this as a bruise.

I’ve seen several reporting that they have been told off the record that he’s done and it’s a tear.

That's what AJ said at the convenience store earlier, and AJ has season tickets and I've never known a Patel who was a more rabid Georgia fan.

Why release the info now? Why not let Indiana and Notre dame sweat it out and have to prep for two QBs til the day of the game?

I don’t disagree with you. I’m not condoning the release, just saying I’ve seen several podcasters say this (including at least one that everyone says they respect the hell out of).

I haven’t seen or heard of anyone except VHS’s insider, AJ Patel say it was a bruise.

Kirby advised it was a UCL injury. Family is seaking a second opinion. Family advised no time table on his return.

I've said lots of crap about beck this season, and he is definitely a DGD. Kids don't sit 3 years to start and get screwed by injuries.
Also our receiving corp can't catch. #2 team in the country and we have 40 drops.

They can catch, same group caught well last year. A lot of the deliveries weren't ideal. However, balls off fingertips are also considered drops...so, all those balls behind, too far outside/high that they got fingertips on but couldn't catch are considered drops in stats. Which, is a very misleading stat.

Come on man. 4 of our top 5 leading receivers are gone from last year. Our receivers have brick hands and no other QB is going to change that.

Our leading dropper is Lovett, and that didn't happen last year. Smith had much fewer drops, too, as did Bell. What's the difference?

Most of the balls behind are supposed to be behind. It’s how attacking zone windows works. The drops, especially from 11, 86, and 6 have been drive killer after drive killer.

You said the drop numbers are misleading. They aren’t. Our WR’s drop more passes than any one else in the playoffs.

Dom will have almost the identical production from last year. As the others have gotten more chances they have dropped passes.

QB isn’t why we are dropping passes.

Balls that touch the hands are considered drops, even off fingertips. Was each one catchable?

If you can touch it, you can catch it, was always what we taught.

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball. Afraid that is what Arian was taught.
