Walker Howard Enters Portal
If Nuss leaves, do we? Joking, but maybe not.
I still stand by joining forces with a school like UL to let Freshman/Sophomores get some playing time and then transfer over to LSU when positions open up. Allows guys to grow, learn, and build their "brand" without losing them to some other shitty school.

I’ll never understand why some of y’all are so intrigued in taking backups from other teams

Players should look at someone like Howard and learn a lesson from his experience, but they won't.

Why would a starter come to LSU to sit the bench?

Not being sarcastic at all, but what would that lesson be?

Because Joe Burrow was a backup at Ohio State?

Will he have 2 or 3 years of eligibility?

I don’t know. Ask AJ Swann, he just did it last year.

Starting to seem that he was maybe a tad overrated coming out of high school. Anyway, I wish him success at UL or wherever he ends up.

He wasn’t their starter but you somehow think he’s good enough to play here?

Was their third stringer, IIRC

Once again Joe Burrow was 3rd string and won a Natty and a Heisman. Our fan base is full of special ed short term memories.

No. Once you leave you’re done. Dude needs to go to a small school if he wants to start.

I agree. I don’t think he should have transferred to Ole Miss, but I also don’t think he should have stayed at LSU. I’m sure he got a nice payday from Ole Miss though I guess so I don’t feel too bad

So because Joe Burrow worked out you want to take a guy that has been in college for 3 years and never been high than a 3rd stringer?

A bit different, Burrow had some really good players ahead of him and Haskins only passed him because he had an injury.
Howard got passed by a freshman.

Wasn’t he going to win that competition until he got hurt?

So you thinks the next Joe Burrow. Got it.
