For Horn fans.

After telling us we aren't SEC ready and won't compete in this league I'm curious what the narratives will be if we do win this thing today?

Here are a few I expect:

"georgia didn't want to be there anyway"
"georgia was overrated. this is their worst team since xxxx"
"refs cheated" - this one is mostly reserved for the ags here
"We were saving our energy for the national championship!"
"We let Texas win so they’d feel welcome in the SEC—hospitality matters!"
"It was all part of a master plan to lull everyone into underestimating us in the playoffs."

what say you?

And if you don't win...

Texas' best win was against an Aggie team that is currently holding down 8th place in conference standings.

8th place in conference standings

They’re one of 6 teams at 5-3 in conference. They’re in “8th place” because of silly tie breaker rules like opponent conference win percentage. Who cares.

If Texas wins it just proves the SEC is overrated and 90% of the teams live in an echo chamber that rides on the coattails of Bama and Georgia.

‘We just kicked your arse for a 2nd time.
And we will again should the playoff committee schedule a 3rd game. And we’re going to kick your arse in Athens again next year. frick you, Go Dawgs.’

Yes, this good old standby will always work if nothing else does.

Nevermind it's impossible for one single team in a conference to literally have the "easiest" schedule. Look at aggy/LSU's schedule and it's virtually identical. We have no control over which teams suck, which don't...or which players play for each team from week to week.

Texas wins today and I think most will accept Texas as Champions this year and move on to the playoffs and basketball.
Will have aggy and a few others bellyaching no matter what happens, but most will simmer down and move on.

I however, intend to gloat like a mother scratcher! Hee-Hee.

Texas completely owned both lines of scrimmage and shut our offense down completely at home. Was still a good win since it was so dominating. A more reflective score would have been 30-3.

Gerogia was the better team. That's what I'll say (like last time).

We've left tons of points on the field in every game but Florida and 2 of the early season cupcakes. This could come back to bite us in the playoffs, but hopefully our fg kicker figures things out and Quinn gets on the same page as his WR's.
