It is all about the portal.

Aren’t these the high school recruits? If so I’m not surprised. I would imagine they’ll hit the portal for most of them.

God, you make more excuses for your Shitty Titties than Joe does for Hunter.

It wouldn't make sense to pay an 18 year old recruit two million a year just for that player to enter the portal a few years later.
Let these players become a bit more seasoned and use that money in the portal instead when you have a better idea what you're looking at.

Pathetic.

In all reality, you have incredible consistency, you do. I have respect for your consistency but if it’s loyalty it’s misplaced and you have to see that with what’s going on here right now. We’re next level shooting ourselves in the dicks on and off the field in every possible way at every possible turn. Losing who we already are in the portal is not a good look. Please explain why you have support for the current AD as a whole, AD, HC, or football program, in general from a rational perspective.

Ohhh, Can I answer please? If not... Here it is anyways from my point of view.
This is who we are period. And I do not blame Pittman for all that many on here do. It isn't his fault that HY gave him the contract.... It is HY's! It isn't his fault that he has been behind the curve on NIL... It is HY's.... It isn't his fault that he was hired and Covid hit.... IT WAS.... (Can I blame HY please, lol) WIth the current settlement, and $$$ from operations now going to the players, we would be borderline stupid to fire him this season, pay out the coaches, pay another staff, etal.
And... Did I mention that this is who we are? I have been a hog fan a long damn time. I remember BP, and HDN, and etal. As long as our NIL situation sucks, we will not expect much better... IMHO. I understand how terribly prepared we look with the turnovers and penalities, but again.... We can either complain constantly, leave as fans, or hope for the best. He is here period.
OK< thanks for asking.

So since I have a different opinion I should be ridiculed and low rated by those one mind hogville/poli board types of thinkers who want to ban you instead of listening to a different thought?
I don’t subscribe to the one think crap we’re subjected to.I won’t apologize for it.
Personal attacks on Sam are childish and unwarranted but if people want to live in hate and anger so be it.

I might add as long as you're putting a .500 team out there yearly, that nil faucet is going to run dry.
Fans will get sick of spending money watching the Hogs lose at home.

the NIL faucet is already dry bro. It has been atrocious. We hired a coach that wasn't truly qualified to be a SEC coach and then hamstrung him with no financial support towards the program as a whole. NIL wasn't really a thing when he was hired.
When your NIL is less than 1/3 of the upper echelon of the SEC... what outcomes do you expect. We would not attract a better coach with our NIL efforts. AND HY is the biggest idiot in this whole mess imho.

I miss Frank Broyles. He was a natural born salesman.
"He didn't like asking people directly for money," Dicus said. "But he could present an idea to a donor in a way where it seemed more like a gift."

He knew where the money was and who to call to get it.
I fully support HDN for AD if he could keep his arse off the field and out of the coaches office.
