Calm down. Every playoff needs a DEI team. This year that's Alabama.

I dont get all the angst about Alabama getting into the playoffs.
They're not very good and won't get past the first round. And even if they did it will give teams like Georgia a chance to leave no doubt, and teams like Tennessee to beat them yet again.
I say let them in. I think most would rather face Milroe than Sellers anyway. Think of Alabama as this year's DEI playoff team.

True.
However, most teams would rather face Sellers when he's on than Milroe when he's on. As an Alabama fan, that is the most frustrating thing about our QB. When he's on he might just be the best QB in all of America. When he's off, holy shite is he off.

But Alabama already beat the shite out of Jawja.

Arguing over 12 is different than arguing over 2 or 4.
They have some playmakers. Football can have some randomness.
The Oklahoma loss was putrid.
I thought maybe that would keep them out, but TV wants name brand matchups.
Alabama versus Notre Dame is what TV executives dream about.

If Alabama lost to SC (SC lost to Mizz) and beat Oklahoma, going on a 5 game winning streak with blow outs over LSU and MIZZ...
The same people would be saying Alabama should never get in because they lost head to head.
The reality is these guys just project. They want a certain outcome and switch what they believe or the stats/facts they use to confirm their bias.
Then they throw tantrums like children when others use all the information and make it seem like the world is against them (which again is them projecting their lives)

You're playing for the SECC Saturday & you're the #7 seed in the playoffs ... and you're melting over the Tide.

One of the stupidest things about CFB is pretending that teams don’t get better or worse throughout the year.
It’s something everyone acknowledges in the NFL, but we have to make everything a narrative in CFB.

Nothing about the last month of football suggests Georgia had "gotten better" since that game. They are capable of being very good and capable of being very average.

The 5th best conference champ in at 5 is DEI, as are the potential 2 or 3 loss Conference champs that could get a first round bye.
The 8-15 ranks are all undeserving of a shot IMO, but they were all in the debate. It's the system we live in, and things will fall as they will.
UGA looks like the same version of itself from September. The rest of your anti-Bama bias sounds like a projection of a fear of UGA facing its krytonite once again in the post-season.

Why not have the non conference title game at large teams play this weekend?
Let’s say 10 versus 13
11 vs 12
More football. Sort of an at large team playoff?

And Bama looks like pretenders and CFP worthy with arse kickings they have taken.

They auto bid at least one DEI every year, the G5 team.
Now we've added the DEI new big 12 auto bid as well.
Bama can't be DEI because they actually are one of the 12 best teams, top 10 even.
Indiana, Boise and ISU/ASU are the DEI teams being included for "fairness."
