That coach replaced but the only coaching changes are the ones taking head or coordinator jobs. Kirby will not fire any coaches this year. Jmho

Yeah, but the staff will get raided as usual and that opens the door for changes

Kirby may evaluate Coach Coley's performance. I say evaluate because what's happened with the receivers may not be Coley's fault, but the performance has suffered. Not just drops, too many running what looks like a bad route based on where Carson puts the ball. Sometimes they're not even locating the football. Last year Carson had a rapport with the receiver group the went well beyond just Brock and Ladd. For some reason that's missing now.

Well, missing the very legit RJS and Rara. Also 8, Lovett was good last year as well as bell

Yeah, attrition is one reason I'm hedging here. We basically lost an entire receiver corps from last year, including several that we didn't want to lose. So that's undoubtedly part of the problem. The communication between Beck and receivers is definitely off.

I was watching a replay of the Tennessee game. Second quarter, UT 20 yard line. London Humphreys was split right, ran a pretty straight route to the end zone. The defender was running in step to Humphreys' inside. Carson put the ball to the outside shoulder, but for some reason Humphreys kept looking over his inside shoulder until it was too late. He never saw the ball until it hit the ground.

Carson was not happy for obvious reasons and the announcers noticed the lack of communication. The outside endzone was wide open space and the defender was blocked by Humphreys' body. Humphreys should have known that Carson would try to put it there, not inside where the defender had perfect position.

Arian is still on the field because he can stretch defenses. Even when not involved with the play. Too bad he is our best option for that. Not many players could survive that many drops and see the field. Lovett had 2 elite catches yesterday. His drops are so random.

Lovett makes some good catches.

I would disagree on the randomness of his drops. He’s been making business decisions the past 6 weeks on balls thrown over the middle in traffic. Doesn’t want to get hit and alligator arms it.
