FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
From Texas A&M Athletics
In keeping with the Texas A&M tradition of making campus a welcoming, hospitable place for opposing fanbases, the University has announced certain changes made to Kyle Field and the surrounding areas in consideration of the Texas Longhorns.
SAFE SPACES
In Kyle Field sections 116 (North End Zone), 234 (East Side), and 242 (South End Zone), as well as suite 100 of the Memorial Student Center (MSC), we have set up quiet rooms for all visitors. During your visit to Texas A&M, you may encounter unfamiliar topics which we realize may cause distress to some, including:
- Pro-law enforcement apparel
- Donald Trump or other Republican politician apparel and literature
- Anti-illegal immigration (known elsewhere as “undocumented” immigration) opinions
- Speeches during the game that put the United States military in a positive light
- Pro-oil and gas and/or anti-“Green” energy opinions
- Negative opinions of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity initiatives, also known as “DEI”
If at any time you find the emotions of hearing or seeing opinions that do not align with your own to be too much, please utilize these safe spaces. Included in these safe spaces will be bottled water, warm blankets, and a live stream of officials in California still counting votes.
EXTRA REFUSE BINS
Located directly outside of the entrances to Kyle Field, we have placed extra refuse bins. Please note that any items intended to be utilized to draw attention to any political causes such as “Free Palestine” or “Stop Oil” will be confiscated at the entrance. The refuse bins can be utilized as a last chance to get rid of these items before entering the stadium.
Any disruptions to game day operations will be met with swift police response and incarceration. Brazos County officials have confirmed that they will pursue criminal charges and are not in the practice of releasing offenders on minimal bail as is the practice in Travis County. This includes actions which may not be criminal offenses in your home counties, such as shoplifting or vandalism.
We hope everyone has an enjoyable and safe weekend here in College Station. Gig ‘em Aggies!

I think we'll have plenty of quiet places in the stadium itself towards the middle of the 4th so don't worry about us!

Lol, this was a good comeback. An inaccurate prediction, but pretty slick.

Is that why A&M hosts and supports Draggieland...the largest drag show in college football.

Of course A&M hosts draggieland. We make a crap ton of money off of it. We make money off of it. No A&M funds “support” draggieland child.
