That should be our last game of the season.

No one's thought about UTrans for 13 years and this recent generation of Aggies doesn't know anything about this former big 12 rivalry. It's totally archaic.

If you pay attention during Arkansas week and Texas week, you will realize that they are also our rivals.

The cost of tickets say differently. They are the most expensive tickets for any sport event in the US this year.

We'd be crazy not to be nervous.

So would Texas.

One problem the SEC is going to have going forward (its not a big problem) is that I doubt Arkansas vs Missouri is going to be a rivalry within our lifetimes. Arkansas now has Texas, Ole Miss, A&M, and LSU in the conference. Missouri at least has Oklahoma back.

Some of us are chock full of rivals at the moment thank you.

Personally I'd go LSU vs Arkansas, Mizzou vs Oklahoma, and always Texas vs Texas A&M for rivalry weekend.

And that is not a knock on Missouri. The magic just isn't there. Sub in Oklahoma for Arkansas and it will do big business.

Judging by the astronomical ticket prices for the renewal of the rivalry, your statement couldn't be less true if you tried.

I agree with that.

You’re an idiot. How much did tickets cost for LSU-A&M? How much are they selling for for Saturday. Young Aggies are not smart, but now that Sharp has turned A&M into a diploma mill, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

For me rivals should have somewhat similar pedigrees of success, trophies... like Oklahoma vs Texas, Oklahoma vs Nebraska

So, Missouri is a no for me.

Oklahoma vs Alabama would be a monster rivalry. I'll take LSU. Hell I'll take Arkansas.

But not Missouri.

The younger generation will learn to hate the aggies, too.

Here's a post from this morning on Inside Texas that shows what it was like..

"My first year at Texas was 1977 and we beat the Aggies in HELL, I mean Kyle, 57-28. I was there and unfortunately for the Aggs so was Earl.

Post game, I woke up in the hospital with a massive concussion, a jaw wired shut, a hundred stitches and a handful of broken ribs - all because me and my gf walked on the wrong grass. And those bastards came from behind where I couldn't even fight.

I am flying in today and will be there tomorrow night."

Neither South Carolina or Auburn would make me nervous. Texas A&M doesn’t even register.

Why would someone pay 1100 dollars for a game they don’t care about?

You’re just wrong. No offense.
