In 11 games our leading rusher has 615 yards and it ain't a running back. It's freaking Milroe. Whodathunkit.

That'll happen when your QB force-feeds himself whether it's the correct read or not.

Miller in particular could have potentially had a huge year with an actual QB back there.

I'm fairly certain we haven't had a 1,000-yard rusher since 2021.

In 2015, Derrick Henry had 615 rushing yards every morning for breakfast

Part of that (IMO) is that the blocking has been TERRIBLE the past few years. While the interior O line has been decent to pretty good, both of our tackles are fat, out of shape and need to drop about 30 lbs. They get routinely beat by speed rush guys.

The WRs can't block for doo doo. Just terrible. The TEs are inconsistent at best. Outzts is probably the best blocker. Dipre completely and totally whiffs his man on a regular basis. Miller is a decent blocker but Haynes is a terrible blocker.

Then, you have Radio often making the wrong read in the play and keeping the ball himself when he should have given it to the RB.

So, yeah, I can see where we can't run the ball worth a damn. I wish I was wrong but I don't think so.

I’ll never believe that Simpson is any worse than #4. DeBoer has completely ruined this offense by not giving Ty a fair chance. We’ve been reduced to running the veer offense with #4. And he struggles mightily with that. smh

Yeah while 4 hasn't been good. This is just a bad offensive unit in general. Really bad tackles, not an elite rb, really lack wr depth. Definitely don't when the talent we used to on offense.

Williams, Bernard, and Law are all easy WR1s for almost any team. Prentice was good with Young. Adams has been consistent when healthy. I think it's a deep group. It's just been impossible to evaluate the receivers for two seasons because the quarterback is awful.

K.Law is the best blocker in the team.
Sad.

Dude cmon. Law? He's not even a legitimately wr dude. I want him to succeed as much as anybody else, but it just hasn't happened. And Bernard is a solid number 2. But we just don't have much of anything for proven play behind that. And Kobe Prentice has understandably been off since his concussion.

Honestly, the only game changer is Ryan Williams. The rest are pretty good but not the kind that can take over a game.

Or an offensive coordinator that doesn’t depend on a dumb quarterback to make the read. Just call running plays to the actual running backs. In other words, the coordinator should just predetermine who gets the ball. This style of football was played successfully for years, why couldn’t it work now?

Jam will definitely get drafted. I think Haynes and Young will too

Bingo.

If Law every played to level that he is given by this board, that would be a 1st.
