Auburn football beats Alabama
Or
Auburn mens basketball beats
# 5 Iowa State
# 10 North Carolina
# 2 Uconn
In 3 days consecutively.
I know the answer its just insane to me.

If you are forcing these two options on me, prepare yourself to be #1 in basketball

That schedule is like a run from the sweet 16 to the championship. No one can complain about our KenPom this year that’s for sure.

I'll make the controversial claim:
If I'm going with "odds," I'm going with us beating Alabama than our basketball team taking out three top ten teams in a row.
While Alabama is extremely talented and formidable, they've had some serious moments of mediocrity. They struggled with South Florida for most of that game, lost to Vanderbilt, should have probably lost to South Carolina, and lost to Tennessee. In all of those games, Milroe did what Milroe has been known to do: make bad decisions and reads, put the ball on the ground, and overthrow his receivers.
There's no reason to think (especially if we beat A&M at home) that our 13th ranked defense won't give him fits.
Alabama's defense has had major issues with stopping the run at times. Their secondary is also a liability and they lost one of their starters recently to injury.
Sooooo IF Milroe has a bad game and IF Thorne can protect the ball and IF we get Hunter going, then I think we have a decent chance of taking it to the wire.
Basketball though is tough when it comes to getting hot and staying hot for big games.
This isn't a big argument I'm making, btw. Just offering a counterargument to what will probably be the majority opinion.

We are +310 to win Maui, it’ll be higher to win the Iron Bowl

I'd rather be at bama in football. Still a long season in shooty hoops.
