Wow, didn't realize that any other conference had only 2 or 1 titles and that the SEC has 5 - that would be LSU in 2003 and 2007, Florida in 2006 and 2008 and Tennessee in 1998. Pretty damned impressive. But wait, wouldn't Miami and Florida State victories give the ACC 2 victories or were they not members when they won?

Thanks for the information on Miami's conference when they won. So I guess the Big East has officially won one BCS championship. That makes the SEC look even more dominant! Here's to LSU taking it back again next year; I really think we will!

So that means that LSU and Florida each have more BCS championships than any other conference except the B-12 which we are tied with.

I could have sworn FOX said that Urban Meyer will join three other coaches that has won 2 National championships and Pete Carroll was one of them?

ESPN were the ones reporting Pete Carroll having two in 03 and 04. Fox reported it right 1 NC 1 AP. Split Titles are BS to me. ESPN was reporting which coaches won more than one within a short timeframe. I put an asterisk next to Carroll's 03* 04. Urban Meyer has RAISED the BAR!

yeah and they'd be CORRECT. Carroll has two titles at USC no matter what people here think.
I thought the 07 victory might end some of this nonsense. Now we are always mentioned as having 2 title in the decade. I somewhat understood people's bitched about the split when USC was basically refered to as the only champion in 04/05 from the 2003 year. But it makes no sense now and really is stupid.

Yeah you are right. I remember changing the channel to ESPN at halftime now . Thanks for reminding me it was ESPN reporting that BS.

You mean the '06 Gators that absolutely crushed OSU? How about the '07 Tigers that spanked OSU again vs. the same USC team that lost to 41-point dog Stanford...at home. Or are you referring to the '03 USC squad that beat a total of 2 ranked teams the entire season while amassing some really impressive defensive stats against creampuffs(30th in total D, 110th out of 117 teams against the pass)?
What experts are you referring to? Sports writers? Get a brain.

I mean the 03' Trojans who crushed there opponent in a bcs game. The 04' Trojans who killed those sooners that lsu barely beat. And those 08' Trojans arguably the best college football team ever. Hey why don't you drool over what USC has 11 national titles and 7 heismen trophys
