The Rebels are #5 in the nation in both YPG (539.6) and PPG (40.7). Plus, they spanked UGA, 28-10. The Dawgs have played 5 ranked teams this season which is, as the article below states, "unheard of" and the loss to Ole Miss was the worst Georgia has incurred in the 9 years of Kirby Smart's tenure.

Their defense ranks #6 nationally in PA (12.6).

I'd tend to agree with him -- at this point. Weeks 13 and 14 are coming up and I'm sure more changes are on the way.

The main contributing factor against Ole Miss in their two losses were untimely penalties. They played their cleanest game against UGA. I think some of that may be related to the fake injury stuff but who knows. If Ole Miss doesn't shoot itself in the foot with penalties, you can see what Lane's vision was for this team: Stop the run, pressure the QB, and lean on your veteran QB to guide the offense. Even without WR1 and RB1, we had enough to soundly whip UGA.

Now, per tradition, Ole Miss will lose to UF 31-17.

Did you mean dropped wide tfrick open TD passes by the conference's leading receiver and missed 30-something yard field goals as to LSU?

Despite all that, we still had a lead and were soundly whipping them. Those mistakes will happen but over 60 minutes, they'll course correct.

The penalties keeping LSU and UK drives alive especially in the 2nd half, were absolutely killer and prevented us from putting the nail in the proverbial coffin. I think we had 5 drive extended penalties called on us against UK that otherwise would have either been turnovers or forced punts.

In what way? Ole Miss threw for 263. Can't say it affected the pass game.

Fumbles? Frazier had it ripped out and Beck fumbled on a sack from the blind side.

Picks? The pick Beck threw was tipped at the line.

No joke. We left 34 points on the field. That was more frustrating than the Kentucky loss.

Don't be a bitch. For one thing, it was only a drizzly mist during part of the game. Ole Miss was able to move the ball. Why couldn't you?

Weather that apparently heavily affects Georgia:

Yes, it did. But, don't forget....Ole Miss had to play in the rain, too.

I don't think we're on the same page.

I'm saying if Harris catches that wide open pass or Davis makes that short field goal, we win the game.

Penalties did it.....Ole Miss controlled those games, too, which made it a shame to lose them.

Not true. Ole Miss beat Georgia and Kirby 45-14 in 2016. Now, as others have said, Ole Miss will promptly wet the bed vs Florida on Saturday. It's just what we do.

Ole Miss is good. I 100% agree. However, they will shite the bed like always.
