Not sure what to make of that. Would winning out get us in even if everyone ahead does to?

Bro don't matter right now. All we gotta do is keep winning. There is going to be movement in the top 10.

If we win out we definitely have the strongest strength of schedule argument of anyone in the country, that would be the only saving grace to squeak in. But we're simply not playing like a Top 12 team right now, objectively speaking.

Yes... if we win out we're in. The question you should ask yourself: Can we win out?

The whole thing is odd. Could poke 1,000 holes but as has been said. Win out and we’re in and possibly hosting. And we’d get the UMass “bye week” and an actual bye from not having to waste time in the conference championship game.

We have the players to win out. They have to be better than last weekend.

Debatable, but possibly. Regardless it's a moot point. I don't think we have the coaches to win out and its wish casting to think that all of a sudden in week 12 they are gonna somehow miraculously emerge from their cocoon and somehow become elite......with the same coaches coaching the same concepts.

The Coach who won 2 out of the three last Natties?

Was referring to some of the assist. coaches and position coaches. Not Kirby.

I think we can win out but we have not looked good in a number of games, wins and losses. I think that most Georgia fans see the we do not have a championship level team and yes, that is in part on the coaches and the players they have recruited.
And yes, Kirby is awesome and has won 2 out of the last 3 national championships but he did that with a different set of assistants and better players from my perspective.

Doesn’t matter now. Beat UT and we’re back in. Loose to UT and we never belonged in the first place.

you would think so considering our resume.

I see some folks saying "who cares if we make it we won't win it all anyway" btu I don't subscribe to that. If we play like we did against OM we'd lose in the first round, to whoever we played. If the defense played like it did against Texas and Carson doesn't turn the ball over we could also beat anyone we play. Playoffs are weird because it's a clean slate and everyone is on the same footing.

And hell if we we end up getting a favorable seed we could get early December off, rest up for a few weeks, host a shite team at home, then get maybe a 3/4 seed next...I mean that's honestly not too bad of a draw.

Also I think people are tending to think our entire season has been like the ole miss game. That was probably the worst I've seen us play since 2016, that was certainly not the norm. The 3 hardest games on the schedule we've played in that team's stadium. The next hardest game (blowout win) was neutral. Maybe it just so happens that this 2024 team is lousy on the road? Sure that wouldn't bode well if we go somewhere for the first round but in a home or neutral setting I'd be excited to see what comes of it.

Yup doesn’t matter at all. A win over TN will put us in the rankings. If we lose 3 or more we don’t deserve to be in tbh

There are no dominant teams out there this year. The team who fixes their issues by the end of the season and gets good playoff matchups has a chance to go far.

A lot of coaches and players are gone from those teams, wasn’t all just Kirby…

Something like that had been coming for awhile, though. That wasn't just some random bad performance out of nowhere. Hell, they'd have probably lost to Florida if Lagway didn't get hurt. They haven't really played well in all three phases at the same time since the second half of the Clemson game. Even against Texas, the offense still only had 280 yards and 3 turnovers, but they happened to get bailed out by a superb performance from the defense. They really haven't gotten any better at anything as the season has gone along. Last season, when they came out of the bye into the Florida game, the offense was much sharper and smoother. We haven't seen that this season.

Yes. The only hurdle in the goal of reaching the playoff is UT. Based on what I have seen though, especially lately, how far would this team go in the playoffs? I could see us beating PSU, Indiana, BYU, Notre Dame and UM but not the other teams. Best case scenario is we draw one of the aforementioned teams but we lose in the next round. Am I complaining? Yes and no. We have had a lot of sucesss with Kirby including two Natties. Do I want more? Sure but its just not our year. Sucks too as I was hopeful after we decimated Clemson.

Agree, I mean we won 2 out of the last 3 national championships so it's all gravy for now.

Even if we stay at 12, Boise State would be in and we would be out
