He said Alabama blitzing seven at the end of the game, showed that two teams were battling till the end of the game.
Scoring with 11 seconds left, showed that they never thought they were out of it.

I guess that he has a point inasmuch as both teams did continue to participate in the game right up until the read all zeroes.

One team was playing second and third stringers. The other was getting their starting QB knocked around to score a meaningless TD.
