If Nico is out? Not that he’s a good QB but they don’t look like a top 12 team and the committee may use it as a reason to keep them out if he isn’t healthy.

Heupel has already said pulling Nico was precautionary, and he’ll be back this Saturday

He was limping last night. He comes up lame so often, if he was a horse, they would have shot him by now.

Heupel said he was out for precautionary reasons. I think he has a concussion and may not be able to go on Saturday despite Heupel saying he is expected to play. If anything that’s a scenario where the committee would give us some leeway if we lose to UGA because Nico would be back to finish the season.
If it’s another injury they may well FSU us.

Tennessee’s weak schedule will have them in the top 12 but the committee doesn’t want to waste a spot on them. Trying to find an out for a fringe top 25 team

And I know transitive property doesn’t apply, but the VOLS beat Bama, who blasted LSU, who beat Ole Miss
Fringe top 25 is a bit of a reach. Our offense isn’t eye popping, but our defense still hasn’t allowed more than 19 in a game this season. We’d be able to hang with almost anyone, and if our offense is clicking, beat almost anyone.
