AU HC candidates

I will start…
Throw a bag at Todd Monken to see if he is interested - Won a couple of NCs at Georgia, has experience coaching Ravens and Lamar
Eric Bieniemy (UCLA) - won two Super Bowls with KC, for strange reason went to UCLA likely because Reid thought he can get two more SBs from Mahomes and not anoint him HCIW
Other young and up comers: Joe Sloan (LSU), Will Stein (Oregon), Mike Denbrock (Notre Dame)
I will guarantee this… if Rev. Hughes comes back after a 4-8 season, we will lose a lot of players. If he is canned, the only way we retain two years of recruiting is if we have a solid hire. That’s why I am leaning toward Monken or Bieniemy because of their NFL experience.

Even though I have leveled extensive criticism at CHF I do not want him fired,…..yet.

The fact another coach that runs a gus brand of football is astounding. If it doesn’t end up working with freeze at Auburn that O ain’t gonna work with anyone.

Honestly. Who out there is a sure fire winner right now? Worth spending $20 million on a buyout and losing this recruiting class? Kirby? Maybe Lanning?

Lashlee has a good head on his shoulders and is adaptive and humble.
Have always liked him and he fits Auburn.
My list is 4 coaches that I think would come to Auburn.
Lanning isn’t or he would be my #1
