"I think the thing about Tennessee is I think Tennessee's box is so elite defensively," said Pollack. "It reminds me of Georgia a couple of years ago. And it might not be the upper-echelon player, but the depth is better. So many guys along that defensive line that they're rotating in and they're not just space eaters. And they're not just big clotters. They're twitchy guys that penetrate, make plays -- it's like hockey shifts. And they rotate in. And I think we've seen, they've been shut out the last three games at the half, Tennessee's offense. And Tennessee's team, in every game, they're very much in it. And it's because they're so dang good on the defensive side of the football."

UGA, we coming:

Vols are ready

Calling Pollack a homer is pretty darn ignorant.

It's kind of hard for him not to say good things about UGA at the moment. He also said in this podcast that Georgia won't win the NCship if their WRs don't get better.

He never picked us much or talked us up much in the MR years or until we had proven ourselves. He did pick us vs. Texas, but he was right.

That’s it then, we don’t even have to play the game. Pollack has a hot take write it in the history book. FWIW … Pollack is anything but a UGA homer.

I understand. I would be annoyed to if one of our former stars said this about another team on our schedule.

Lol what would you rather have a DL with

Four 10s

Or

Ten 4s

Technically the second one "has more depth" but we all know which is superior

I think he goes out of his away to avoid coming across as a UGA homer but he hates him some Auburn

You just said you would be nonsensically annoyed by that, so take it up with yourself.

Our defense is elite:

Hard Stops (1st)
Yards per play (2nd)
Rushing Defense (2nd)
3rd down defense (2nd)
Scoring defense (4th)
Tackles for loss (3rd)
Redzone defense (6th)
Total Defense (4th)

Considering these numbers it's really not fair for Bama fans to turn on Milroe so harshly. He still beat UGA this year, last year and had Bama in the NC game. He's still the same player.

This defense has been flat out destroying opposing starting QBs.

We ruined Oklahoma 's season from the get go by mentally and physically breaking their 5 star QB causing Venerables to freak out and give up on him.
