Just curious, does everyone still want Lane Kiffin?

It seems as if even the Florida fans have tempered their desire. Hell, I've tempered my desire to keep him but I also know that would be stupid as an Ole Miss fan because he's the portal king and we need to portal to be competitive. However, he's really shown that he can arse-up a game and be caught unprepared for lesser competition.

At this point, I wouldn't trade Elko for anyone.

Ask me again in three years, though.

He's not mature enough yet for me, needs to cook longer.

I’d take him as a OC.

I think he's matured quite a lot. What I don't think he does very well is hold his offensive coordinator in check. Our defense has been a really big bright spot and kudos to him on letting Golding run that side of the ball, but the fact that we have had such a regression on the offensive side of the ball and that's his specialty is just a real head scratcher to me. Our best RB on the roster didn't hardly see the field until game 7. Our stable of WRs has become, "throw all balls to Harris."

Ah, What this entire post is about.

You lost. As you have lost 7 out of the last 9 meetings to LSU. You are irrelevant. You haven't been relevant since the 60s. You have never been to Atlanta for the SECCG and will not again this year with your "Preseason Playoff" portal team.

You are nothing. You Are Ole Miss.

No, it's not but the fact that we could have put that game away by halftime is undeniable. We left 30+ points on the field due to lack of execution and our own frick-ups.

Why did we continue to call "run up the middle" with Parrish when he couldn't get but a yard at most all game? Why did we not utilize our all-star tight end at all?

Bro, no one is melting about losing at Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night. That shite happens. It’s the Kentucky loss that stings.

Elko is far better from a culture standpoint, and that's what A&M needs right now.

He has matured a ton since his old days, no doubt about that. No where near the same person.

But he still makes a good bit of bad decisions and doesn't know when to let go of the banana. Also, for all the talk of Saban being a mercenary, Kiffin is no doubt. He will up and leave with every one of your players he can fit under his arm on the way out if the right opportunity comes along.

Exactly. Same stupid play calls over and over and no execution. Then, we leave ourselves in this position where we allow them to come back and win over an exhausted defense.

frick no, and let me tell you why:

- Uses a gimmicky offense that gets shut down against any defense with a pulse
- Uses fake injuries to stall other offenses (another gimmick)
- Uses gimmicks to attract recruits #ComeToTheSip
- Uses twitter and other social media to act like a little bitch instead of being a real man and winning or losing with class
- Is essentially a man-child who is going through a midlife crisis 10 years to early

That being said, he has used all of that to elevate Ole Miss from a 5-7 program to about a 9-3 program. There is something to be said for that, and he deserves a pat on the back.

However, I do not think those same tactics (gimmicks) would elevate a program that is already historically good. As we’ve seen, all of those mercenary portal players and gimmicks fold like a cheap suit when up against real competition. I think he knows that, and that’s why his bitch arse stays #InTheSip.

Napier put up almost 3x the points we did against Kentucky. If Florida wants them they can have him.

He's more then capable of getting Ole Miss to playoffs
would have been a playoff team last season for sure with 12 teams
obviously a disappointment as I don't see Ole Miss making it this year
he's perfect for Ole Miss but the issue is when the boosters decide they don't want to fund his roster mgmt

on a side note, if he ever wants to be taken seriously get rid of all the bush league sideline crap and get off social media
