All over the place I'm still seeing folks attacking Beck. Again, I'm no expert, and YES, he threw a real INT in the second half. But uh, if Smith would have held on to that first long bomb for a TD and take away the deflected INT he would have thrown OVER 500 yds and had 4 TDs and 1 INT. That, my friends, is Heisman-like numbers to me.

By the way, 459 is the 3rd most yds in UGA history. Oh, and he also had some other drops so he could have been looking at a record breaking day. Sorry, but I just don't get the negativity at this point. But that's just me...stone me if it makes you feel better.

He is throwing for more yards but he has regressed in his accuracy and taking care of the ball.

Most of his turnovers have been REALLY bad.

"regressed in his accuracy..." "turnovers have been really bad"

Huh? His comp % yesterday was %75, and one INT was on a deflection. Again, if some WRs had not have had some drops (not Beck's fault) and Smith catches that long bomb, which Bell or Lovett would have probably made, then we're looking at an even higher % and over 500 yds. Sorry my friend, but your math and mine are not jiving with one another.

Two INTs blatant ones in that fact is well?

54% with 4 turnovers in the loss to Bama. 2 more turnovers yesterday.

I know the defense has been the biggest disappointment this year, but you’d expect more consistency from a 5th senior who is also one of the highest paid QBs in college football.

One int was on a deflected pass.

The ball was thrown to Two Miss St Dbs and was gonna be intercepted anyway. Tipped or not

He shouldn't be throwing this much in the first place. There is no solid running game. That's the real problem.

I’m happy we saw more Frazier. He has to play more to ever have any semblance of a run game this season.

The first one ricocheted off a lineman's helmet, genius.

Not to mention, it would be nice to have him on board the next 2 years instead of in a So Cal or Oregon uniform.

The first int went off a helmet and the second was a clear miscomm between QB and TE on the route. QB was throwing to a curl that didn’t happen the way he thought it was going to happen.

It could have been 100% Beck’s fault. It also could have been the TEs fault. When you are throwing those type passes, the QB throws the ball before receiver makes his move. He basically turns around and there’s the ball. It is very difficult to defend. If executed well.

If the receiver is supposed to curl in and he curls out, and you as the QB throw it to the curl in, it looks really bad.

What I don’t get is this is all pretty simple Football stuff and our team of experts here don’t seem to understand these basic aspects of the game, yet have very emotional and definitive opinions .

On one of those in the Bama game, the WR clearly ran the wrong route. Beck threw it to where he should have been.

Looks like he had a QBR of 75.1 yesterday. That gives him him the 19th best season avg QBR of 79.7.

Sounds about right.

When they are thrown behind, over, short - whose fault is it?

If only Nate Frazier and Ellis Robinson played more, everything would magically become way better and blissful. This is the "expert" takeaway that I've gotten from the board in the last few days.
