Seems like OU is UTx's kryptonite

Why is that? Is OU traditionally considered a better team between the two of them The last 25 years ?

Make it make sense now that you are in the SEC

Texas just went through their worst decade in football history.

It begins and ends with leadership and mental preparation. Bob Stoops and Lincoln Riley were consistently better coaches than Mack Brown, Charlie Strong, and Tom Herman.

I think it’s crazy that from 2000-2004, Texas was at worst #11 in the country entering that game. They lost all 5 times, giving up over 60 in two games.

In fact, the matchup on paper has been pretty even entering each game since 2000. Stoops just knew how to get his team up for the game.

Not really luck if we beat you year in and out on the regular with few losses here and there.

Texas -14 seems like a sucker bet for sure. I'm not sure OU wins this weekend, but I don't think they get blown out either.

I have no idea how NIL has turned everything around.

I think Saban and Lincoln both had some inkling, but what do they know right?

I mean, yes?

OU has 4 national titles in the last 50 years. Texas has 1

OU was the boogeyman in the Big8/Big12. Even Tom Osborne Nebraska struggled against him, he didn’t win a title until the bottom fell out on OU in the 1990s

Historically, Oklahoma is the 2nd most successful program west of the Mississippi, only behind USC.

They have been consistently good. They’re basically the “Alabama” of the Big8/Big12

OU typically has the better players and coaches – not to mention the better fans.

Edit: Oh, and message board posters.
