Does ewers get starting spot back?

Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian said on Monday that Ewers will start against Oklahoma barring any setbacks in practice this week and then confirmed on Thursday that Ewers will get the nod.

Thanks! I assumed he’d get the job back when he was healthy and they will likely play both QBs.

Burks is playing for OU and Quinn is going to be rusty. That’s a big concern if I’m Texas
OU just takes it up another notch in this game and you never know if Texas is snake bit.

Deion Burks exited Oklahoma’s 25-15 loss to Tennessee with what coach Brent Venables labeled as a “soft tissue” injury, and Burks missed OU’s 27-21 victory over Auburn before the bye week.

I imagine Sark will play Ewers the whole way unless there is an injury situation or there's garbage time.
Ewers wants to burnish his NFL prospects.

There won't be any dual QB situation.

Quinn will be fine.

Take your excuses out the door with you, if that's your thing.
The game is played when it's played. Cry somewhere else.

That is crazy. And our defensive backfield is the best unit of the defense this year last.

I heard a stat that Michael Hawkins holds the ball the longest out of any starting QB in the SEC. Granted his sample size is small. Those corners better help him out and get open.

Damn. I was curious why Brennan Thompson was getting so much PT this year.

Oklahoma will play without the program’s five best wide receivers with Nic Anderson, Jalil Farooq, Andrel Anthony and Jayden Gibson all listed as out on SEC injury report

Lot of WR's on the list for OU. I'm not that familiar with the OU roster... are most of those key guys or depth chart guys?
