for storming the field and tearing down their goalposts. It's Vandy's first offense while it's Arkansas' second offense.
SEC policy states the fines have to be paid to the opposing institutions, not to the SEC office.
Hmmmm.
Bama could get rich by losing a few more games this season. Put all of it into a trust and use it to pay off coach DeBoner's contract.

What’s the fine for 3rd offense? And does it make a difference if there are multiple within the same season? Asking for a friend.

The SEC is retarded with this rule and the people that defend not storming the field come out with the most BS answers.
The only people that are in danger are the fans because thats when thugs like Tennessee and Alabama football playera push people for crying about losing

Did it hurt seeing Vandy players do what your players could not while having a staff capable of coming up with a winning gameplan against Alabama with less talent?

You mean other than it being trespassing, disorderly conduct and creating an unsafe environment among 100k people?
Yeah, no good reasons.

About Vandy? Not even. In fact, it's probably the only field rush I will ever in my life defend.
Those fans deserved every minute of it. They showed up for a game and team that hadn't won in all those years. 90% of their stadium were not their own fans even though it was a home game, and that's the norm.
Anyone who shows up for that team after that history and gets that kind of historic win deserves it. But shite like Arkansas rushing because they beat an over-rated Tennessee team that hasn't been good in 25 years? That's lame as hell.

The deeper I get into this, the once rugged SEC appears more soy.

You should definitely demonstrate that by rushing the field at BDS.

Interesting concept.
Opposing fans rush the field and take down the goalposts-their school gets 100k.

How much money until they figure out that maybe they are actually rushing the field for bullshite reasons and they aren't really pulling off miracles 4 times every few years.

Not a fan of rushing the field.

Oh, he can pose as an Alabama fan if he wants, doesn't matter.
We can all start bets on who kicks his arse first, the crowd, the security or the players. Does he have the speed to make it to the players?

I agree with this but I don’t agree with penalizing the schools. At least not to the point of millions of dollars. If the fans decide to storm the field, exactly what is the school suppose to do? I guess they could have some ramifications for students but how are they supposed to stop non-students?

I'm pretty sure if you shoot a few in the front row, the rest will retreat.
But honestly, if you make it clear and known that they will be arrested, charges pressed etc, they won't rush the field. And if they try, when the first few start getting arrested, the others will turn around.
Instead, they make it possible and enable it by "preparing" for it indicting there will not be consequences.

Beef up security and hit anyone rushing the field with a baton until they are a bloody pulp.
If only the show cops was never off the air.
