Did we hire Freeze to go 4 years and build the roster back? If that is the case, I will get off of his back, but if we hired him as a coach, whiff, and miss. The game really came down to trying to convert the 4th down on our side of the field and letting Thorne make a decision on the field. I am not throwing Thorne under the bus, because if he gives to Hunter it goes nowhere, if he keeps, well you saw what happened. I am not convinced that our coaching staff even knew what the call was. If we punt and put them back inside the 20, at least they have to run some clock to score, and maybe they don't. The game was lost on that call. we basically did nothing after that.

Auburn hasnt scored more than 10 points in Athens since 2009 but I'm supposed to believe Freeze should've got that win in 1.5 years

Apparently , our roster is so bad this year that we are just gonna tank the season, not coach, and just try hard at a later date.
We will get back to you when we have enough blue chip talent for Hugh to break out his magic book of plays.

The DL had already outstretched his arms to tackle cowboy, THATs why Thorne pulled out the ball, trying to do something, anything with three defenders already in the backfield.
Even the announcers questioned wtf Freeze was bitching at Thorne for.
He has made some mistakes, but that wasnt one of them, and certainly did not deserve to be dressed down on national TV, which seems to have become a pattern with Freeze.
Perhaps he should pay more attention to his sermons to the culture council

Correct me on this, but I always thought Freeze was a tempo guy? Haven't been running it at all, except inside the last minute. Yesterday, it's getting into the second half of the 4th, and McElroy comments that they need to start being mindful of the clock, yet the continue using the ENTIRE play clock.

Freeze called a run through left tackle that was open, but Thorne changed to RPO. Freeze was fried last week for calling a RPO vs running and he corrected this week but Thorne changed out of the play.
Some positives as we moved the ball w/ no TO’s but UGA has too much but we are getting better.
