Interesting facts and points.
History: The Great All powerful Chicken, who is the Creator of the Rant, and actually a Texas resident, first created the Tiger Rant in the 90s for LSU fans. It got very popular because you were allowed to talk shite and express yourself much more than other fanbases sites and other SEC fan bases poured into the LSU site, particularly after being banned from other sites. They eventually became so numerous, that the OG started complaining and Chicken created this site for all the other SEC teams. So yes, all the rant sites were originally LSU fan site. So when you complain about the number of LSU fans on the SEC site this is why.
Over time a bunch of general topic sites were created including team sites for everyone.
Although you are free to express yourself more than most sites, you can get banned here. (I have been many times and I am on double secret probation again) You will often get a warning but not always. You will get banned for personal attacks, (depends on moderators on how much you can get away with), going apeshit crazy, porn, rebel flags, and just being a prick in general. When someone is so pissed they want to be banned, then used to do a porn bomb but I haven’t seen one in a while.
Other Sites:
The OT is for really anything general. They have their own deal and downvote everything. It’s like a news board. When any big event occurs, I go to the OT and typically you have some people there that are on it and you can get better information than the news quicker.
The Outdoor board is really good if you are a hunter fisherman etc. Great source of information on outdoor topics, boats, etc.
Political Board: Just stay away from that one. Pretty sure everyone arrested from the January 6 event, was or is on that one.
The soccer board is good for premier league fans.
The help board is good if you are trying to get your signature right, add photos to a topic, etc.
There is a Tech board that is good for electronic stuff, a gardening board, and a few others. Hopefully, a paranormal or weird board is coming.

Rant Terms:
Germans: from animal house means topic has already been discussed
ATPB: often used to discribe a topic that is going long or epic. Refers to the As the Plains Burns post which went on for seemed like years and were about Scan Newton and corruption in Alabama
Gumps: Bama fans
Faggies: obvious
Sonic or meet me at Sonic: mock invitation to fight
Grind: Miss State
Alter: means someone that is hiding behind an alternate profile
Corndogs: LSU fans
REC: The Red Elephant Club, one of bama’s fund raising groups often accused to buying SEC officials etc.

Score boards: typically when the weekend rolls around the Rant will shut down and the Score board will appear with each game being highlighted in its own thread. (Unless you are Vandy or Miss State for some reason) That’s were you get to really talk shite, but if you dish it out, u have to take it .
SEC Recruiting Board: decent place for info but your team recruiting board is typically better.
Coaching Changes board: where you keep tract of all the rumors, flights etc on who is going to be hired fired etc. This will reemerge around October November.

Tuthill, you really should write up a single manual, post it, get it stickied and update it as needed

It may be more pleasant, but it's definitely not easier.
It involves opening tabs, copying and pasting links, etc.

Can you do this with the word “c*nt?”
I’d really like to be able to use that word.
I do not understand why that word is forbidden, given how useful it would be on this site.
