Man it stinks there.

Anywho, I obviously didn't give Utah enough credit. I had them beating us by only 3.

Looking back at it they are a terrible matchup for us. Speed rushers on green tackles. A NFL corner (who I thought played like a vagina) with NFL size. They do a great job on offense spreading the field and took advantage of our inability to rush the passer with 4.

They walked every swinging dick within 8 yards of the ball and dared us to throw. We missed our chances against down the field.

I think some will say we weren't prepared, but I don't neccessarily agree with that. When we blitzed they either hit it over the top or hit a hot read. When we sat back they sat down in open zones. They had a senior QB and some very well coached, experienced receivers.

Congrats to the Utes. They beat the number 2 teams in the Pac-10 and the SEC. They beat every opponent in front of them. It's hard for me to argue against their "we're number 1" chants.

I'm from the nola area. And it really does stink sometimes, depending on where you are and what the weather is like. the FQ smells, esp on warm days. There's no point in denying it.

Now that you've left, it probably doesn't stink there anymore.

imo, Utah just simply whipped us. They were more hungry than our players.
No matter what we did, Utah adjusted and pretty much shut us down.
Their WR's pretty much abused our secondary...hell our secondary should have paid the UTAH WR's for the damn clinic they put on.
Anyway on the brighter side of things....we finished 12-2 which is far better than I or anyone else had ever imagined prior to the start of the season.

NOLA is a shithole, but its a shithole that I love. Sure, it has a distinct stinch, but the culture and atmosphere that is second to none.

I've always loved it and will be back.

Sarah Jessica Parker is not capable of making plays downfield consistently. Why do you think UTAH dared you to do so?

dreaux68,

It stinks in some parts of the French Quarter because tens of thousands of tourists like YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU sway up an down Bourbon Street drinking, vomiting, urinating on peoples' steps, and about anything else you can imagine.
The NATIVES don't do that......

If you would be so kind as to tell me how you can instantaneously clean up that kind of human excrement that treats the city they are visiting like a toilet, please tell me.
BTW, the City and the Quarter have an excellent contract with sanitation companies who are CONSTANTLY cleaning up the mess from YOU PEOPLE.

Also, since you say in another reply on this thread that you have a familiarity with Uptown, the Garden Distict, Lakeview, Downtwon, etc.
How do THEY "stink." ???????????

You are a total derriere orifice. The airport and/or hotel you walked into probably starting stenching up as soon as you brought your filthy arse in and opened up your cesspool Bama mouth.

Awww!! Did I hoit your wittle feeeewings?????

Yeah looking back it shouldn't be that hard to understand. Utah proved all year that it deserved to be in a BCS game. With wins over TCU (who is actually pretty good) and Michigan (although that's not that good).

And nice prediction by the way.
