The SEC’s best 4 teams play that day. Alabama at Tennessee and Georgia at Texas. The winner of Alabama/Tennessee has an inside track to the SEC title game. If Texas wins, they will too. If Georgia wins, and they will, there will be a logjam of 1 loss SEC teams.

I don’t see Tennessee beating Bama, and if Georgia decides to play for 4 quarters against Texas then they should win that game.

UGA will beat Texas.

Texas has to split the next two with OU and UGA and that won’t be easy. OU will be sky high

Except A&M may still be undefeated. Except for that. Y’all better hope LSU or Missouri beats us. Or A&M will be tied with you for first. Rankings be damned.

By Oct. 19, Texas will be favored over UGA. They will have played a couple more games by then, probably not looked great, and Texas will have skulldrug Oklahoma.

I hear you Sneezy. A&M is a dark horse, but definitely in this thing, not yet to be dismissed.

Why do you think Texas looked so pedestrian against Mississippi State? Was it lack of focus or is Texas not as good as people thought at the beginning of the season?

I am NOT saying we win the SEC. Or a natty or anything truly significant. I’m just saying they have the schedule and the team to really frick up things for the teams that do.

That’s all.

Having been in a conference with Texas there is perpetual hype followed by a big thud. Every year.

I hope it's the former but we'll know after the next 2 games. I've never been sold on our secondary so I suspect Ga is going to light them up. Really wish we didn't have Blake Gideon coaching this group.
Our offense will be fine as long as we can somehow find 10 running backs because it appears that's what we're going to need....that or have Blue dip his hands in pine tar prior to every possession.

UGA will beat Texas and Bama-Tenner is a toss up.

Aggie still has to play Mizzou, LSU, Texas and at South Carolina among others. If Aggie plays like they did against Arky, BC and Notre Dame they will lose two or three of those.

I really do hope everyone assumes this. Especially the oddsmakers. This team plays with so much more focus when people doubt them.
Won't change the fact that Ga is going to light up our secondary. They are bad just like last season. Blake Gideon has to go.

Those BIG12 teams don’t play defense. There’s a reason it’s the SEC then Big 10 that wins every year. UGA will handle them.

Wife and I were talking on the back porch over coffee about maybe going to Knoxville for the Bama game. 7 hour ride but great venue to watch a game and go hiking

True. They usually play better than expected.

we've heard that before...just last year. Georgia is a great team but if they waltz in assuming they win we will be beat them.
I don't think any sec team goes undefeated this year, however. Bama does look like the most complete team right now.

Unless we learn to contain the edges, Milroe is going to tear us up.

This was a classic trap game and they survived, unlike Ole Miss

They have a bye then OU and UGA and were a 39 point favorite with a backup QB starting. It was also 105 on the field and the defense was lazy.

In a weird way I bet Sark likes games like this to show them they are beatable

being the favorite does not play to your advantage at all. I wouldn’t want to play Alabama or Georgia as the favorite against them.

Bama said frick that last night, being underdogs in their own house.
