fricking stop. Points been made. It’s embarrassing and negatively affected us yesterday.
Sorry. Had to get that off my chest.
With that said, prayers up to Matt Jones. Hope he’s okay.

It's frustrating and very embarrassing for guys to keep doing it.

It's certainly didn't help us any.

I can't blame refs if they threw a flag after a fake injury and called holding, pass interference, etc... just to show the coaches they will be punished for this

Not only is it embarrassing, but you can tell how much the coaches think about it, and implement it into the game plan. This isn’t baseball, stop worrying about this gimmek shite, and go punch someone in the mouth on defense.

Have any of our reporters just point blank asked lane why he is having our players fake injuries so much? I thought we finally got some depth where we could substitute players in and out? Or is our conditioning so bad our players need to fake injuries to get a breather? If I was coaching against us I would have 5 different guys fake on our opening possession when we love to go fast just to prove a point. This needs to be stop.

It’s so other offenses that are running tempo can’t get into a rhythm

Agreed fake injuries breaks rhythm and gives d breather but also because currently the rules allow it and so lane will push the limits until they do something to stop it. I am embarrassed that we abuse it but like the pegues goal line carry it appears to be part of the sip game plan at this point.
I can't stand the resulting 4 HR football game. To address this I come in cold on the recording game about an hour after kick off and skip commercials, injuries (fake or otherwise) and reviews. I usually end up live about mid 4th quarter. I save an hour of my life each week this way.

quote:Why? How does it negatively impact your life that you’re embarrassed by it? Let the other fanbases bitch and moan about it. They hate it because it’s effective more times than not. If the NCAA doesn’t like it, they’ll make a rule change. Until then, keep doing it if it helps us. The only thing I hate about it is all the commercials

This is why I wholeheartedly support it. I absolutely love the melts.

It’s going to take the SEC reviewing video and big fines handed out for there to be any change. You will never see any penalty called for it.
So I agree with Kelly and his stance on it.
Beamer’s response to it cracked me up a little
