Probably not the mood- but should be.

We lost. We could have won.

Was at the game.

Yeah- we left points on the field. The pick six. Some clock management issues. I heard and saw it all.

Also saw a lot of young guys take a positive step forward today. I know there are things to criticize. Not saying we shouldn’t….we are fans. That said- if we step back and look at the positives- they are definitely there.

In looking at how a team would respond from the Arkansas game. I thought- other than the outcome and a few things here and there- we played a good game. I liked the game plan. We executed it for the most part.

So——even in a frustrating defeat—-it’s still great to be an AU tiger.

Yes, I’m still glad to have a degree from Auburn and love the town and culture.

But we suck at football. Because I believe in Auburn and love it, I will fight as hard as I can on message boards to help fix Auburn football.

Agreed with the sentiment. I love Auburn regardless of what any athletic team does. That said, this last decade has been absolutely brutal as an Auburn football fan. Does that change the experiences I had as a student, or the value of my degree? Obviously not. That doesn’t make it not fricking suck though

Thank goodness I was in school for the NC. Those memories keep me going in this pain riddled fandom.

It’s not rainbows and sunshine. At all.

It’s just acknowledging that while we lost——i saw players fight and play hard. In the old days that always deserved a “it’s great to be an AU tiger…”

I know we aren’t good- but I didn’t see a 2012 type team today.

At least I had 93 when I was there.
I’m bummed for my son who is a junior now. At least he’s gotten some prime basketball

Probably-No dispute there—- but having watched the two- up close and in person—-2024 to date is a better team than 2012.

If you recall, that team fell apart in mid October

True. Wheels fell off that team after losing to LSU 10-12…

Ole Miss game was the coming out party for the wheels coming off.

I hope that isn't the case in 2024. Could be—- for sure.

Dude. You’re just wrong here. I can understand frustration, but I just disagree that saying “it’s still great…” is an inappropriate thing to say.

I have attended some bad games, by bad teams—-with coaches I didn’t really like…administrators I didn’t agree with and players I wanted to strangle…

I am not making excuses. I am just saying- what I said—-it doesn’t make it fun- but i stand by it.

Should have won. Auburn had 482 yards of total offense while Okla had 291 yards.

There is hope yet that Auburn could win another game somewhere along the line.

Its just bad fricking timing. Like cheering after a soul crushing loss where the exact same failings reared their ugly head again. Choking when the pressure is on is a Freeze and Thorne special. Gus too.

It just seems any time the game is on the line and we've lost momentum, its over. Auburn will find ways to lose the game. Even when we are leading by two and three scores
