He knew he was losing that special class with Penix/Odunze/etc and this season was going to be rough.

Was smart enough to cash in while his value was still high.

I’ve noticed you have an odd obsession with Coach Kelly. You seem to try to work him into threads which have nothing to do with him.

I feel like whoever this guy is I feel like he’s about to get hit in the mouth and have no idea what to do.

He played the game well. There is no reason he should not be at Alabama for a good decade.

And LSU didn’t hire Napier or Jimbo or Aranda.

Nice call.

Napier

I think he could have lost 7 or less games over 2 years no problem at LSU.

Doubtful, he's lost 16 at Florida.

I think LSU as a program is and has been in a much better position than Florida for quite a few years now.

That's true and there's no doubt he would've been better but it wouldn't have been that drastic of a difference.

We're talking double the amount of losses.

Napier has made enough bad decisions that it's pretty clear that he isn't currently capable of running a major college football program.

LSU hired a good HC but not a championship caliber HC. Proof has shown it all three years so far.

There are only three "championship caliber" head coaches in college football currently and I wouldn't want two of them.

Brian Kelly didn't make any bad decision when he was at LSU?

It's impossible to say since he went to Florida, and he's certainly not making an argument in his favor there.

But at the same time why did Florida get way worse the last 2 years of Mullen? Florida went 2-6 in the SEC East the year before Napier got there.

And now they have an even tougher schedule under Napier.

I think there is more there than just the HC. LSU doesn't need fixing the way Florida does. Napier certainly doesn't seem capable of fixing Florida at this point, but I don't think the difference is as much on Napier as you do.

Sure, he has. Every coach makes bad decisions.

The program isn't a dumpster fire though.

He spent $2.5 million on a DC, the highest salary in the nation for that job, to have the same shite defense as last year.

It took Baker 2 years to turn around the defense at Mizzou yet Missouri fans are desperately painting this as a bad hire 4 games into his first season.

Why?
