Can we only win 4 and keep Freeze?

Chiz won us a natty in 2010 but was canned just 2 years later after we 3 and 9 season.
Freeze hasn't done anything for us, what's keeping him around if we go 3-9 or 4-8?

Freeze is only in year 2 and his propensity to recruit well affords him another year.

This continued hot seat discussion is pretty bothersome to me because I know firing him puts us right back in the abyss with no recruiting hope but you anti freeze stans just want to whistle and root for it regardless. What the hell is wrong with you?

We would be on the hook to pay Harsin snd Freeze a shite ton of buyout money in an era of players dont need loyalty they just want the check and willing to split in lickity split. And the new guy gets to inherit this:
These L numbers will just keep ballooning and judging by our last coaching search there will not be a quick fix to lighten the downward spiral.

We only have 4 win talent. It will take 12 more years to get enough talent on the sidelines to get back to 8 wins.

Firing him this year would be dumb. It's not 2008 anymore. If a coach leaves, the NCAA says the entire team can transfer for free. If that happens we are in a world of shite.

Still no QB, losing some key defenders in secondary, best receiver and rb. Schedule looks pretty tame, but we've dropped some easy games on paper during Freeze's tenure. I don't know what damage we'll fix/take in the portal this season, but not counting on 8 wins yet. This team is much further behind than most predicted.

Gotta depend on extended growth by our current players. Lew and Faulk will be juniors, receivers will be sophomores, other players have to step up, and gotta expect a transfer QB that will win. Freeze needs to get himself out of this contention by stupid Auburn so he can breathe easier. 8 is only mediocre. Freeze will help himself out.

He’s not getting fired this year.
But it’s fair to start questioning his ability to coach and when will he get his first meaningful win as the Auburn HC.
Arky and Cal were easily winnable if we ran the ball 70% of the time instead of letting our interception-machine QBs toss it to the other team.
