With this potential hurricane barreling in, if there are soggy conditions, who benefits more and why?

Everything I see says it will be gone by Saturday night in TTown.

Yeah, I’m seeing rain, but it’s gone Friday mid day. Chances of rain Saturday afternoon, but nothing to do with the storm..

Let's hope so but hurricane paths change.

Like I said in the other thread, this system is not going to impact the game itself. Weather will be fine in Tuscaloosa. The impact will be to UGA traveling to the game. Throwing off Friday walkthroughs, traveling earlier then expect (or late if they dont get out in time) throws off the regular schedule....its not much, but probably favors Bama since they dont travel

They don't typically change that dramatically (east to west), especially with how fast it is moving. Almost all the models are coming together now for an impact in Florida Big Bend, traveling north up towards Atlanta/Athens

the current NHC track has Helene at 33.9 N 83.9 W with 50 mph sustained winds 72 hours from now.. those coordinates are about halfway between Atlanta and Athens, with Athens on the dirty side of the storm..
The good news. The storm is moving really fast.
The bad news. There is a lot of trees in the area, and 50 mph sustained will do quite a bit of damage.
Hopefully the track changes..

Never fear. Donald Trump is going to draw an arrow that forces the hurricane to move east through Valdosta Friday.

Assuming it does impact the game it will depend on how much. Winds and rain would favor the team with the best OLine and RBs.

Looks like Tuscaloosa area will miss any bad weather.
