Dual threat QB that runs a 4.5 against a horrible Auburn team
He will get Heisman hype after this win and if he beats Texas. OU owns Texas and their defense sucks against dual threats

I'm so confused why you're trying so hard to push Oklahoma on us, this is like your 8th thread about OU in the last two weeks.
They have one of the worst OLs in the country, Hawkins isn't going to do shite this year.

I really hopes he does well. The lack of players around him might hamper him a bit.

His dad played at OU and started as freshman. He has a great role model about pressures.

On a real note, I think Hawkins is going to show that a lot of the OL issues were Jackson Arnold related. He was an absolute train wreck and couldn’t figure out what he was supposed to do on RPOs. Nearly impossible to block for a guy who can’t read a defense and doesn’t know when to hand the ball off.

His dad’s a nut case. Made up a racist story to get out of Allen because he didn’t like the coaches. He was kicked out of 3 games for making a scene from the stands.
Nothings ever his kids fault. His dad also played in 5 games for OU and was there 6 months before leaving.

Exactly. We have issues but its hard to fully understand due to horrible QB play and decisions. This will help get a better feel plus if he can play and score under pressure it buys time as we get injured players back both line and wr.

Has nothing to do with how hard he worked him to be ready. That pushing a kid hard still travels.

Are y’all getting more guys back? The RB and WR that were injured coming back? The 4-5 Oline guys that have been out coming back? If not, it’s hard to play with too many backups in the SEC.
