Brown looked as good as we could hope for a first game. Makes accurate throws fast.

This 3-4 defense is not the answer. 3 man front is garbage..

Will get ripped apart by SEC teams with a pulse.

I remember when we gashed Missouri with that shite defense. It is not working for us

I was promised we would have an aggressive defense and that Durkin also liked to bring pressure every play.

At times, it looked like a 3-2 box

That 3-2 did not work.

Maybe a 2-1-8 would flow better since most plays turn into a downfield tackle.

It might give our secondary some help, Lord knows they need it.

Durkin is a very good dc, will actually have to give him time before everyone wants to fire him and every random position coach

Agreed; a fan of the 4-2-5

It would fix a lot immediately. S and CB will still miss some plays, but DL and LB would be way better.

I don’t think a 4-2-5 would fix the problem because many times last night that’s what was out there once the linebacker walked down to the LOS. With the makeup of the team we need a 4-3 (which I’m not a big fan of) since we’re not that dominant up front to run 3 down lineman. The outside backers can be quicker and the middle backer can be a run stuffer.

The D will have to be tricky and out fox Petrino or at least keep him guessing.
