I never heard them, but whatever they were he hasn't forgot about them. Ribbing the wareagletigerplainsman on twitter these days while counting his buyout money.

He was allegedly nailing an intern/staffer he brought with him from Boise.

Fix your grammar or go to jail.

Social media rumors were regarding a relationship with a staffer that came with him from BSU.
He was investigated due to complaints from former coaches and players regarding conduct. He was eventually cleared of that, but you don't have guys like Derek Mason leaving to a huge pay downgrade for no reason.

She's currently the Director of Football Operations at San Jose State University, for those wondering.

I mean...I think it was obvious to everyone that Harsin was a dead man walking after that little scandal. Most people could read the tea leaves and saw that the power brokers in Lee County wanted him out. Recruits could see this and weren't touching that situation with a one hundred meter cattle prod. Derek Mason likely left because he knew if he didn't he'd be caught up in the fallout from Harsin's termination and would likely have difficulty finding a job. His defense's performance against Bryce Young and company in the Iron Bowl that year likely helped get him a job with a relatively similar (albeit reduced) salary.

Power brokers made Derek Mason file a complaint against Harsin to the Athletic Department?
As good as Mason was against bama, go watch the Auburn MSU game that year.

I’m not saying I agree. I do understand.

The only thing I can find about Mason and Harsin is a story from when Mason was first hired at Auburn. The two men were having a disagreement over who to hire as the DL coach. Mason wanted more of a say, citing that the DL coach would be working underneath him. However, Harsin believed that the final decision was his to make. Finally, Mason got a little chippy and said that he had been a head coach in this league (the SEC) for a longer period than Harsin had. To which Harsin then retorted: "You mean at Vanderbilt?"
Other than that anecdote, I can't find anything about Derek Mason filing a complaint against Harsin to the AD. Maybe I'm just bad at googling.

When it was breaking news and information was still being meted out, some idiot kept an aggregate image thread.
The people that post here are sick.

Auburn witch-hunt and went after the family and personal life of a man because they didn’t like his football coaching.
The Auburn family just randomly the searched Auburn website for a young attractive intern on staff and then made up rumors in hopes of not having to pay a buyout
